Hello from TASTEDEV,
We would like to introduce TASTEREMOTE, a remote desktop project that lets you view and control a remote computer through a web browser. Install the host app on the PC you want to access, then connect from a browser without installing a separate viewer app. You can use the TASTEDEV-operated server or run your own server.
TASTEREMOTE is under active development as we continue to improve its features and stability. Depending on your setup, you may encounter bugs or features that are not yet fully polished. Please review the supported operating systems and known limitations before getting started.
If you run into a problem or have feedback, please leave a comment or question on the product page. Including your operating system, TASTEREMOTE version, and the steps that led to the issue will help us investigate and improve the project.

Stable release confirmed on 2026-10-23 in Korean time: the GitHub release was published at 01:54:31, and the PyPI wheel and source files at 01:54:44–45. The extra setting for query, header, cookie and form models applies to all submitted fields in the same location, including fields declared in other models, individual parameters and dependencies. extra="forbid" rejects fields outside the model, "allow" includes them as extra fields, and the default "ignore" ignores them. This compatibility change can cause existing requests to be rejected, so review sibling parameters and dependencies together before upgrading.
Stable release confirmed at 03:30 Korean time on 2026-10-23: the GitHub release was published at 03:30:24, and the PyPI wheel and source files at 03:30:41–43. Support for combining unions of form models was added (PR #16596). Developers can review input declarations for APIs that use multiple form models.
Confirmed the GitHub stable release at 07:21:50 Korean time on 2026-10-23 and distribution of the PyPI wheel and source files at 07:22:06–07. This fixes the OpenAPI schema for a nullable form union declared on its own (PR #16598). Developers can check API documentation and generated clients that use this input shape. Unlike the previous investigation, when only the changelog was available, actual distribution is now confirmed.
Around 02:04 Korean time on 2026-10-23, official GitHub releases published stable 4.0.9 and 4.1.2 and prerelease 4.2.0-RC1. Official blog posts dated the same day confirm Maven Central availability, with 99 fixes, documentation and dependency changes in 4.0.9, 126 in 4.1.2, and 113 enhancements, documentation and dependency changes and fixes in RC1. 4.0.9 includes fixes for JWT rejection with empty issuer-uri and jwk-set-uri values, nested JAR contention and manifest handling, and shutdown hangs. RC1 includes nested JAR reading and class/resource lookup optimizations, an Ubuntu 26.04-based default Buildpacks builder, and spring-boot-properties-migrator support for failing startup on errors or warnings. Developers should distinguish stable releases from the RC and check changes relevant to their version line.
Official announcement dated 2026-10-23: the Spring ecosystem’s Modulith 2.2 RC1 prerelease and maintenance versions 2.1.2, 2.0.9 and 1.4.14 were published. In 2.2 RC1, marking event completion participates in the listener’s transaction by default, succeeding or failing with business changes; abandoned publications that will not be retried are distinguished from failed ones. Maintenance versions include dependency updates and applicable event publication registry fixes. 1.4.14 is the final 1.x release, and the official post recommends upgrading to 2.x. Developers can distinguish RC from maintenance versions and review event reprocessing and transaction behavior.
GitHub stable distribution was confirmed at 04:57:16 Korean time on 2026-10-23. The official blog is dated October 22 and also announces Maven Central availability. The release fixes blocking external entity access in XMLReader created by SaxUtils, SOAP interceptor handling and resolution of XSD imports with relative paths, and updates documentation and dependencies. This Spring ecosystem component release is distinct from a new Spring Boot version. Developers can review XML input processing and SOAP/schema behavior.
The official post is dated 2026-10-22; the linked JPA 4.1.2 and 4.0.8 releases were actually published on GitHub on 2026-10-23 at 17:06–17:07 KST. The Spring team announced availability of Spring Data 2026.0.2 and 2025.1.8, with bug fixes, documentation improvements and dependency upgrades. Module versions differ by release train: JPA, Commons, Redis and Relational use 4.1.2 or 4.0.8, while MongoDB uses 5.1.2 or 5.0.8. Developers should check their release train against each module's changelog. This is a Spring Data maintenance announcement, distinct from a new Spring Boot release.
Published on GitHub on 2026-10-23 at 09:35 KST, Spring Cloud 2026.0.0-RC1 is an RC, not stable, and is based on Spring Boot 4.2.0-RC1. The official post announces OAuth 2 authorization for Config clients, WebSocket support in Gateway MVC, and high availability for Kubernetes Configuration Watcher. Developers can test authentication, connections and configuration-watching compatibility in a prerelease environment. This is a Spring Cloud announcement, not a separate new release of Spring Boot itself.
Published on GitHub on 2026-10-23 at 23:56 KST. Spring AI 2.1.0-RC1 is a prerelease; stable 2.0.2 was also published. The RC adds Message Parts across major chat models, turn-aware session-memory compaction, tool-call confirmation and search with externally computed query vectors. Existing ChatMemory APIs are deprecated for removal in 3.0.0. Developers should test session identifiers, memory migration and resumption after approval. This is a Spring AI library announcement, not a Spring Boot release or a new service from a model provider.
Published on GitHub on 2026-10-23 at 09:26 KST, Spring Cloud 2025.1.4 is a stable GA release. The official post identifies Spring Boot 4.0.9 as its base, support for 4.1.2 and bug fixes across projects. Module versions differ, including Config 5.0.6, Function 5.0.5 and Gateway 5.0.4. Developers should check their Cloud release train, Boot compatibility and individual module changelogs. This is Spring Cloud maintenance, not another announcement of a new Spring Boot release.
Announced 2026-10-23. This prerelease adds a contextSource null check in the LdapTemplate constructor and improves parameterized logging. Developers can test LDAP integration compatibility with Spring Framework 7.1.0-RC1.
Released on 2026-10-23 at 16:59 KST, Vue 3.6.0-rc.13 is an RC prerelease, not stable. Its section in the linked minor-branch changelog restores the default 200ms delay for asynchronous loading components, fixes Vapor transitions, asynchronous setup and text hydration, and adds transitions for Vapor slot rows as children of a VDOM TransitionGroup. Developers can test the related loading, transition and hydration flows in advance. This is a Vue announcement and does not signify a separate Nuxt release.
NVIDIA/OpenShell and OpenBMB/VoxCPM were newly observed on GitHub Trending’s daily list at 21:00:22 KST on 2026-10-23. That page showed 18,246 and 40,003 cumulative stars respectively, with 211 and 144 stars today. These are daily-page figures at the observation time, not installation counts, rankings or new releases. Maintainers describe OpenShell as a private, safe runtime for autonomous AI agents and VoxCPM as a tokenizer-free multilingual TTS, voice design and cloning project. This is not independent validation of safety or performance. Developers can assess them as sandbox runtime and speech-tool candidates while checking security and licensing.
Published 2026-10-23. Part II of OpenAI’s Habitat account describes protecting shared Azure Cosmos DB resources with hot-key throttling and request priorities, invalidating Valkey caches through CDC, and rewriting the proxy in Rust. Developers can examine isolation, cache freshness and change-delivery failure handling. This is the vendor’s engineering account, not an independently verified performance result.
Published 2026-10-23. OpenAI reports combining an offline web environment with container, VM, network and monitoring defenses, repairing containment weaknesses found by red teams and resuming training on October 1. Developers can examine agent execution boundaries alongside automatic stopping controls. This is a vendor account of internal training and evaluation, distinct from customer environments for released models.
Released on 2026-10-23 at 13:48 KST, Codex 0.164.0 is stable. Ten numbered /presets slots store prompts and slash commands; inline /model and /permissions arguments configure the model, reasoning, speed and permission profiles. It displays images in the fullscreen transcript on Kitty/Sixel-capable terminals and improves enterprise MCP authentication and credential masking in supported remote Bash and Zsh sessions. Fixes also preserve history after compaction failure, restore saved settings on resume and handle Windows proxy authentication. Developers can check terminal requirements, MCP eligibility and session-resume behavior.
Released on 2026-10-23 at 10:35 KST, v0.67.0-nightly.20261023.ga713410ab is a nightly prerelease, not a stable release. It preserves extended token usage metadata, aligns per-turn reporting, and ensures all model turns with function calls receive thought signatures. It also handles termination signals in non-interactive mode, prevents tool execution after cancellation, and preserves ${VAR} placeholders when migrating deprecated settings. Developers should test cancellation, usage reporting, and settings migration in automation while distinguishing this build from stable releases.
Announced 2026-10-23 07:18 KST. Stable 2.1.309 fixes macOS/Linux Bash startup files running outside the sandbox, MCP configuration file modification and disabled-server reconnection. It also fixes synced plugins and skills being removed after disk read errors. The skills guide checked at 09:00 clarifies when managed settings restricting hooks to plugins revoke allowed-tools pre-approval for personal and project skills. This guide observation is not a new runtime feature release; developers should check both their version and organizational policy.
