Hello from TASTEDEV,
We would like to introduce TASTEREMOTE, a remote desktop project that lets you view and control a remote computer through a web browser. Install the host app on the PC you want to access, then connect from a browser without installing a separate viewer app. You can use the TASTEDEV-operated server or run your own server.
TASTEREMOTE is under active development as we continue to improve its features and stability. Depending on your setup, you may encounter bugs or features that are not yet fully polished. Please review the supported operating systems and known limitations before getting started.
If you run into a problem or have feedback, please leave a comment or question on the product page. Including your operating system, TASTEREMOTE version, and the steps that led to the issue will help us investigate and improve the project.

For setup instructions and development updates, follow the development log through the Learn more link below.
There is still work to do, and your feedback will help us improve TASTEREMOTE step by step. Thank you for your interest, for trying the project, and for sharing your experience with us.

Released October 30 at 02:51 KST, Angular 22.3.0-next.3 is a next prerelease, not stable. The compiler CLI adds checks for numeric CSS properties requiring units; JIT defaults pre-v22 libraries to Eager change detection. The npm artifact and 02:53 KST upload were verified. Developers can test template diagnostics and older-library compatibility in a prerelease environment.
Microsoft’s official announcement at 00:00 KST on October 30 introduces Syncfusion’s MIT-licensed Blazor Toolkit and platform contributions. The free toolkit is separate from its commercial Blazor suite and requires neither a license key nor Community License eligibility. Contributions include inherited-model form validation, QuickGrid diagnostics and scaffolding fixes. The setup scaffolder and configuration skill for AI coding assistants remain under review. Developers should check toolkit setup and distinguish merged fixes from inclusion in their deployed .NET version.
Official documentation change observed October 30: skill effort applies for the remainder of the current turn, overriding session effort but not CLAUDE_CODE_EFFORT_LEVEL. With context: fork, it sets the forked subagent’s effort instead. Developers can distinguish skill, environment, and subagent configuration scopes. This is a documentation clarification, not a new runtime feature release or a known announcement time.
The stable release appeared on October 30 at 04:47 KST, with npm publication verified at 04:56 KST. It adds keyboard-driven transcript selection, codex queue --resume, and codex doctor --network-only. It also preserves approval settings across resume and fork, and fixes app-server startup/shutdown races and reconnection recovery. Developers can review long conversations, diagnose connectivity, and check resumed workflows.
The stable release published at 10:06 KST on October 30 adds permissions.blockWritesOutsideWorkingDirectories to reject Write, Edit and NotebookEdit outside working directories in every permission mode. It also adds IdP-group upstream restrictions and idle compaction for long conversations. The /claude-api Datadog tracing header and bundled dataviz number/chart guidance were updated. Official release and npm file integrity were verified. Developers can test write boundaries, organization policies and bundled skill changes.
Released at 10:22 KST on October 30, 0.67.0-nightly.20261030.gb633c0703 is a nightly, not stable. It adds an extension validation command and fixes case-insensitive Windows root checks, PowerShell CIM fallback for IDE process lookup, 429 cooldown display and $-pattern corruption in prompts. Official release and npm file integrity were verified. Developers can test extensions and Windows integration separately from stable 0.66.0.
On October 30, OpenAI outlined support in the coming months for a common robots.txt signal expressing AI-training preferences. Existing crawler controls remain. This is a plan, not a finalized standard or currently available capability. Web developers can retain current crawler policies and track implementation and standardization.
On October 30, OpenAI said new teen protections would start rolling out in the next few weeks. It plans its first Community Safety Report for early 2027, then twice yearly. These are vendor rollout and reporting plans, not full availability or a new API. AI developers can track scope and subsequent reports.
Official Windows distribution metadata is timestamped October 30 at 04:16 KST, and the archive was confirmed available. The changelog replaces crashes on Windows MAX_PATH overflow with actionable errors and fixes native-assets compilation failures in flutter test for pub workspaces, monorepos, and symlinked paths. It also adds ContextMenuButtonKind for extensible text-selection menus. Developers can check long paths, workspace tests, and custom-menu compatibility. Official distribution was verified separately from a failed GitHub tag lookup; this does not establish an independent SDK announcement time.
Published at 08:47 KST on October 30, the patch set includes SvelteKit 3.1.1 and Vercel 7.0.2, static 4.0.1, Node 6.0.1 and Cloudflare 8.0.2 adapters. Of eight advisories, two are high severity: experimental remote-form parsing DoS (Kit 2.42.0–3.1.0) and server-only imports exposed through src/params.js (3.0.0–3.1.0). Others cover query.batch collisions, cross-origin route code, reroute crashes, prerendered-rule injection and Node-adapter DoS. All npm files passed integrity checks. Upgrade applicable packages and inspect affected client bundles. package 3.0.2 also fixes packaging exit.
Released at 08:27 KST on October 30, 46.0.0-alpha.3 is a prerelease. It fixes Windows startup without a NUL device and File System Access blocklist gaps for .git, shell configuration and UNC shares, plus selection end handling and net.fetch performance. Official release and npm metadata were verified. Developers should test startup and file-access boundaries in an alpha environment.
Released at 17:01 KST on October 30, 3.6.0-rc.14 is a release candidate. Its tag-pinned changelog fixes Vapor hydration mismatch recovery, selection of the server-rendered v-if branch and slot-prop updates, and adds component hooks for devtools. It also reduces compiler transformation/code-generation allocations. The official GitHub release and npm file SHA512 integrity were verified. Developers can test SSR hydration, dynamic slots and devtools integration in an RC environment.
Observed on GitHub Trending’s daily page at 21:00:19 KST on October 30: mattpocock/skills had 307,008 total stars and 882 displayed today; pingdotgg/t3code 32,275 and 920; lightpanda-io/browser 37,868 and 559. Their READMEs describe community engineering skills, mobile/web/desktop control of local coding agents, and a Zig headless browser for automation. This is an observation, not a vendor-official skill or version release. Developers can review skill delivery, agent permissions and browser API compatibility. Total stars and displayed daily metrics are separate; no install counts, usage ranking or growth were inferred.
