Hello from TASTEDEV,
We would like to introduce TASTEREMOTE, a remote desktop project that lets you view and control a remote computer through a web browser. Install the host app on the PC you want to access, then connect from a browser without installing a separate viewer app. You can use the TASTEDEV-operated server or run your own server.
TASTEREMOTE is under active development as we continue to improve its features and stability. Depending on your setup, you may encounter bugs or features that are not yet fully polished. Please review the supported operating systems and known limitations before getting started.
If you run into a problem or have feedback, please leave a comment or question on the product page. Including your operating system, TASTEREMOTE version, and the steps that led to the issue will help us investigate and improve the project.

For setup instructions and development updates, follow the development log through the Learn more link below.
There is still work to do, and your feedback will help us improve TASTEREMOTE step by step. Thank you for your interest, for trying the project, and for sharing your experience with us.

Announced 2026-10-28 00:00 KST. Microsoft highlighted over 50 MIT-licensed Blazor controls and analyzer contributions merged for .NET 11. Developers can evaluate the free subset; the entire commercial suite is not free. The setup scaffolder remains under review.
2026-10-28 KST: GitHub and npm verified. Fixes overwriting partially read large CLAUDE.md files and skill discovery after directory changes. Fixed-URL MCP servers from official-marketplace plugins report their real telemetry names. Check rules and skill discovery.
On 2026-10-28 KST, stable 0.66.0 promotes earlier preview changes. Separately, prerelease v0.67.0-nightly.20261028.gfa5c17365 fixes Termux paths, CRLF diffs, ambiguous character width and duplicate history. Distinguish stable promotion from new nightly fixes.
On 2026-10-28, Google published a walkthrough linking evaluation generation, grading, run comparison and failure analysis. Developers can preserve per-case results to review prompt and model regressions. GEPA prompt optimization is ADK-only, not supported for LangChain. Scheduling uses external tools; this is a guide, not a new-version announcement.
On October 28, Anthropic announced an expansion of free Claude credits through partnerships with 20 scientific foundations, institutions, and research groups. Some collaborations aim to produce open data, open-source software, and shared libraries, but remain at an early stage. Scientific software teams can review eligibility and collaboration opportunities. This is not a new model or API release; descriptions of research outcomes are supplier claims.
On October 28, Google announced CompiledModel API and ML Drift GPU inference for the shared LiteRT runtime in Play services. It avoids bundling the runtime with each app and describes CPU fallback and continued Interpreter CPU support. The post also introduces migration through the litert-runtime skill in Android Studio Agent Mode. Developers should review changes and check outputs and compatibility on real devices. Performance and size improvements are vendor measurements; NPU support remains in development.
October 28: supplier reports MCP plugin availability; Codex integration is planned for 2027. Developers should check permissions and rollout schedules.
At 20:02 KST on 2026-10-28, GitHub daily Trending showed elayadesign/ai-design-skills with 10,493 total stars, 1,395 stars today and 747 forks. This MIT-licensed community Markdown design-skill collection documents landing-page-design and tool-specific setup. Developers can review it for project rules. These are not installation counts; it is not a vendor-official plugin or MCP server.
Released on 2026-10-28 KST, all three stable branches update Node.js to 24.22.1 and fix asar path/archive handling and File System Access blocklist gaps. Versions 45.1.0 and 44.10.0 also add preload-script URL filters. Developers can review the fixes for their supported branch before updating.
On 2026-10-28, Express disclosed CVE-2026-111181: one request can crash body-parser through 1.20.8 or 2.0.0–2.3.0 when decompression is enabled. Upgrade to 1.20.9 or 2.4.0 or later, already published October 22. The temporary inflate:false workaround rejects compressed bodies.
The official release appeared on October 28 at 20:41 KST; npm deployment of core and common was verified for October 27. It adds a native Node HTTP platform adapter and fixes duplicate middleware execution on version-only routes, responses to mid-stream failures, and request-scoped forwardRef handling under concurrency. The Express adapter updates the multer security dependency to 2.5.0. Developers can check adapter compatibility and test uploads, streaming, and versioned routes.
The individual official release post is dated October 28, while the distribution index records October 27. This Krypton LTS patch backports V8 changes and fixes streams to retain the async context of parked writes. Official checksums and an actual installer were verified. Developers can test stream processing and async context propagation in 24.x services. The official index does not mark it as a security release.
