Hello from TASTEDEV,
We would like to introduce TASTEREMOTE, a remote desktop project that lets you view and control a remote computer through a web browser. Install the host app on the PC you want to access, then connect from a browser without installing a separate viewer app. You can use the TASTEDEV-operated server or run your own server.
TASTEREMOTE is under active development as we continue to improve its features and stability. Depending on your setup, you may encounter bugs or features that are not yet fully polished. Please review the supported operating systems and known limitations before getting started.
If you run into a problem or have feedback, please leave a comment or question on the product page. Including your operating system, TASTEREMOTE version, and the steps that led to the issue will help us investigate and improve the project.

Announced: 2026-10-22 (KST). Stable 0.158.0 supports combining form models; 0.158.1 fixes preservation of form media types in OpenAPI. Official GitHub releases and PyPI files with upload timestamps were verified for both versions. Review form-input validation and generated OpenAPI specifications when upgrading.
Announced 2026-10-22 KST. Version 0.158.2 adds optional Form models; 0.159.0 adds optional Query, Header and Cookie models. Official stable GitHub releases and PyPI wheel/sdist files are confirmed. Developers can review inputs that omit an entire model.
Announced 2026-10-22 KST. Optional unions of Form models are supported (PR #16586). The official stable GitHub release and actual PyPI wheel/sdist uploads and timestamps are confirmed. Developers can review inputs selecting one of several Form models or omitting the model entirely.
Observed 2026-10-22 KST. The official skills guide now states that paths patterns are relative to Claude’s current working directory and exclude files outside it. This helps teams review automatic skill activation in monorepos. No announcement time is provided; this is a documentation clarification, not evidence of a new runtime feature.
Announced 2026-10-22 KST. /claude-api api-version helps migrate Claude API code to version 2026-10-21, and claude_code.safety_event adds telemetry. HTTP MCP retries after a mid-call disconnect are limited to read-only or idempotent tools. Developers can review API migration, tool side effects and permission records. The official stable release and skills guide were cross-checked.
Announced: 2026-10-22 10:23 Asia/Seoul. v0.67.0-nightly.20261022.g09d81bf11 is a nightly prerelease, distinct from stable 0.65.0. It bridges the IDE companion into container sandboxes over exec standard input/output and prevents duplicate agent loading when the workspace is the home directory. Atomic file writes respect read-only files and hard links; untrusted-flag checks are scoped to external output and approved flags are remembered. Developers working across container and file-permission boundaries should review these prerelease changes without assuming they are available in stable.
Announced: 2026-10-22 13:34 Asia/Seoul. The official stable 2.1.308 release notes announce bug fixes and reliability improvements. Specific fixes are not disclosed, so no particular feature or performance gain can be asserted. Developers can check their workflows and tool connections before adopting it.
Announced 2026-10-22. OpenAI describes replacing individual applications with a shared Codex harness, plugins and skills in its forward deployed engineering (FDE) work. Removing roughly 90% of custom code is a vendor-reported case result, not an independently verified finding. Developers can use it as a reference for designing domain-specific evaluations and connectors; it is not a new product or version release.
Official announcement dated 2026-10-22: Anthropic said it is donating the Agent Skills name, logo, GitHub organization and agentskills.io domain to AAIF, part of the Linux Foundation. This moves the open standard, which conveys task procedures through SKILL.md and optional scripts and reference materials, to neutral governance; it is distinct from MCP or a new plugin release. Versioned releases, a formal proposal process and security guidance are a proposed roadmap. Developers can continue using and contributing to the standard without joining AAIF.
Announced 2026-10-22. OpenAI says Uber is expanding ChatGPT Work from a 1,000-person pilot to more than 30,000 employees worldwide. An internal AI skills library, approved integrations and training support adoption, while engineering teams continue using Codex. This is an enterprise agent deployment case, not a new public plugin or skill release or independently verified productivity result.
Announced 2026-10-22. OpenAI made the GPT-6 Luna-based Decisions API generally available. It supports bounded predicate, choice and score answers, with up to 400 questions per request, native JSON inputs, images in question instructions, GPT-Live integration and prompt caching. Developers can connect classification and routing decisions to applications. Speed improvements are vendor claims, not independently verified results.
Released on 2026-10-22 at 06:05 KST, Superpowers 7.0.1 is a stable release of a community-maintained project, not an official Anthropic announcement. Before its first question, brainstorming reads the specified project, specification, plan, or files and asks about remaining gaps instead of repeating answered questions. subagent-driven-development and writing-skills move details into references/, while executing-plans removes a redundant example. The maintainer describes these changes as addressing skill truncation after Claude Code context compaction and adds a check that fails when SKILL.md reaches 20,000 bytes. Developers can review the question flow and reference-file loading; this is not an independently verified performance improvement or a popularity ranking announcement.
Announced: 2026-10-22 13:37 Asia/Seoul. GHSA-jr5w-w6x2-84p9 reports blocking compromised eMudhra intermediate certificates in both Chromium networking and Node.js tls, https and fetch. Patched versions are stable 44.9.1, 43.8.1 and 42.11.16, plus prerelease 45.0.0-beta.6. Apps using TLS over networks an attacker can intercept are affected; there is no app-side workaround. This is a separate security advisory, not a new release of those versions. Developers should check the patched version for their Electron branch.
Observed on GitHub daily Trending at 20:01 KST on 2026-10-22: php/php-src, anthropics/knowledge-work-plugins and luongnv89/claude-howto. They provide the PHP interpreter, Anthropic work plugins for Cowork compatible with Claude Code, and a community example-based Claude Code guide, respectively. GitHub API cumulative stars at 20:03–20:04 KST were 40,747, 31,265 and 42,589. These are not installation counts, daily gains, rankings or new releases. This is a list observation, not an announcement of a static guide update. Developers can review plugin contents and distinguish the guide provider in the original sources.
On 2026-10-22, the Oracle Java team’s Inside Java featured Sandra Payne’s JavaOne 2026 session. Using common Java heap memory problems as examples, it covers collecting and analyzing low-cost diagnostic data in production in advance so that the first occurrence of a failure can be investigated. Developers and operators can use it when assessing the performance cost of diagnostic collection. This is not a new JDK release or an announcement of performance improvements.
Announced 2026-10-22. Spring says Spring Batch 6.1.0-RC1 and maintenance release 6.0.6 are available from Maven Central. Version 6.1.0-RC1 is a release candidate adding @JobParameter and PageableItemReader. Source and binary compatibility changes affect JsonLineMapper and directly instantiated JDBC DAOs, requiring review by batch application developers. This is distinct from a new Spring Boot release.
The announcement date in the official changelog and VERSION is 2026-10-22. Version-specific metadata and the Windows SDK distribution file were checked at 12:01 KST on 2026-10-23; the file’s last-modified time is 09:18 KST that day. This file timestamp is not treated as the announcement time. On Android 14 and later, dart:io uses the updatable Conscrypt APEX root certificate store to reflect root CA additions and distrust decisions from Google Play system updates. The BoringSSL update includes blocking compromised intermediate certificates and security fixes for X.509 path validation. Developers can review both the SDK update and the certificate update path on their target Android devices. The official security advisory published on 2026-10-24 at 03:51 KST clarifies the impact and remediation of the same eMudhra certificate fix. It identifies dart:io on Android and Windows, and Linux environments without updated system CA bundles, as affected by TLS interception; Web, iOS and macOS are not affected by this issue. Fixed versions are Dart stable 3.13.7 and beta 3.14.0-315.3.beta, and Flutter stable 3.47.8 and beta 3.50.0-0.2.pre. Updating the SDK alone is insufficient: rebuild and redeploy the affected applications or compiled binaries.
