Hello from TASTEDEV,
We would like to introduce TASTEREMOTE, a remote desktop project that lets you view and control a remote computer through a web browser. Install the host app on the PC you want to access, then connect from a browser without installing a separate viewer app. You can use the TASTEDEV-operated server or run your own server.
TASTEREMOTE is under active development as we continue to improve its features and stability. Depending on your setup, you may encounter bugs or features that are not yet fully polished. Please review the supported operating systems and known limitations before getting started.
If you run into a problem or have feedback, please leave a comment or question on the product page. Including your operating system, TASTEREMOTE version, and the steps that led to the issue will help us investigate and improve the project.

For setup instructions and development updates, follow the development log through the Learn more link below.
There is still work to do, and your feedback will help us improve TASTEREMOTE step by step. Thank you for your interest, for trying the project, and for sharing your experience with us.

GitHub releases and PyPI uploads are confirmed. Version 0.149.0 treats empty scalar values in form models as missing; 0.150.0 treats unselected file inputs as missing. Named zero-byte files remain valid. Version 0.151.0 distinguishes explicit JSON null from omission: omit a value to request its default. Review input validation and code relying on defaults before upgrading.
The October 20 stable GitHub release and PyPI file uploads were verified. Validation errors for header parameter models report the HTTP header name int-val rather than the Python field name int_val. Explicit aliases, Header(convert_underscores=False), and models with loc_by_alias=False retain their existing behavior. Check clients that parse error locations and expected values in tests.
The October 20 stable GitHub release and PyPI distribution files were verified. Unions of Pydantic form models now receive the same browser form handling as individual models. Empty scalar fields use defaults or produce missing-field errors, empty list items are preserved, omitted boolean fields become False, and unselected files are treated as missing. JSON request bodies are unchanged. Check empty-input, checkbox, and file tests for endpoints accepting multiple form models.
Both official stable releases fix link-opened windows failing to inherit the opener's session and webPreferences. They also fix setCertificateVerifyProc occasionally not applying to a request concurrent with the first request to a host. Regression-check the affected window-opening and certificate-validation paths.
The 2026-10-20 daily Trending list and repository originals were checked. The projects describe LLM tool-output and context compression, CLI-based agent integration with software, and node-based generative-model workflows respectively. These are project descriptions, not new-release or independently verified performance claims. No ranks or growth figures are reported.
On 2026-10-20, cloudflare/security-audit-skill was newly observed in daily Trending and its repository was checked. The project describes phased security audits and structured finding verification for coding agents. This is not a new release or independent validation of audit accuracy; no ranking or star growth is reported. Developers can review isolation and finding revalidation requirements before adoption.
On October 20, the official stable release metadata at latest and 3.13.6 returned the same version and revision. The changelog documents a dart2js fix for a single Dart call generating multiple calls in compiled JavaScript. Projects compiling for the web should regression-test the affected call paths after upgrading.
The compiler team announced these groups on Inside Rust on October 20. The GPU target notification group brings together experts from AMD, Nvidia, Intel, and other vendors to diagnose GPU issues and help with maintenance. The Linker working area supports work on integrating alternative linkers such as Wild and provides a contact point for linker questions. Participation is available through a PR to rust-lang/team. This is not a new SDK release or a claim that linker integration is complete; it identifies reporting and participation channels.
An October 20 Inside Java article presents a Devoxx Belgium 2026 talk. It explains how code reflection in OpenJDK Project Babylon and the Heterogeneous Accelerator Toolkit (HAT) reflect Java compute code into an analysable model, transform it for GPUs, and execute it through OpenCL or CUDA. Examples cover matrix multiplication, tensor cores, and NVIDIA Nsight profiling. This is a research and development approach, not a stable Java GPU API release or a performance guarantee.
OpenAI announced its acquisition of Orchestra Bio and plans to combine it with Rosalind to develop agents that coordinate drug development work. This is a vendor announcement of acquisition and integration plans, not a new model or API release or validated clinical outcome.
Fixed directory-plugin skills not running as commands in Cowork cloud sessions and repeated full skill lists during plugin reloads in resumed and cloud sessions. /reload-skills sends only new or changed skills. GitHub and npm stable distributions were verified.
Official blog announcement: 2026-10-20. The article analyzes verification feedback and a shared codebase, describing a harness with Dart/Flutter MCP, Agent Plugins, package-specific skills and GenUI. Developers can review it when combining analyzer checks, widget inspection and regression tests. These are vendor analysis and internal experiments, not independent performance validation. This does not republish Genkit Dart or claim a new SDK/plugin release.
